Tammy Bennett, Vice President, is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine who specializes in non-addictive, opioid-free chronic pain management. A serial entrepreneur, Tammy was responsible for the brand Longwood Healing Center. Her business was centered on holistic wellness for the baby boomer market. She grew the business from a startup earning less than $100,000 in the first year to over $1.8 million when she sold the business in 2014. Her work is based on more than 20 years of practice treating thousands of patients and a desire to improve the quality and impact of healthcare to her patients. Prior to her work in healthcare, she held a Director of Sales and Marketing with Hancock Information Group where she nurtured business relationships with large IT and financial companies. This enabled her phone her skills in marketing and customer retention; skills that she has utilized many times over the years at her clinics. Ms. Bennett is also a paid public speaker on the topics of opioid free pain management and Integrative therapies in healthcare.
Dr. John R. Chewning, D.O. is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician and a member of the American Osteopathic Association. He is a graduate of both Rollins College and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Chewning is also affiliated with Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton College of Osteopathic Medicine, South University in Savannah Georgia, University of Central Florida, University of Cincinnati and University of Florida in Gainesville and has a rich history in teaching others at the above mentioned Universities. His approach to medicine is one of using the body to help heal itself using Holistic methods.
Susan Ruxton, a graduate of Methodist College of Nursing and University of Wyoming has joined Amnion of Florida working as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She has worked with Veterans of War at the Orlando Veterans Administration for the last 15 years and specializes in Orthopedics, Dermatology and Women's Health and Gynecology. She also has a rich history in teaching Physicians and other health professionals various techniques for injections and in office procedures. Suzy enjoys seeing patients of all kinds and in her private practice advocates holistic care and disease prevention.
Corine Fahlsing, Cosmetologist and Medical Aesthetics Specialist specializes in microdermabrasion, micro-needling and skincare for cancer patients. She has been providing Medical Aesthetics and skincare services for over five years in the Central Florida area. She is a graduate of Minnesota State University and Daytona State College. Ms. Fahlsing received her advanced skincare training at The Florida College of Natural Health and holds a certification in Phlebotomy and is a Master Stylist for over 20 years with expertise in hair restoration. She is very passionate about providing natural skincare solutions to her clients that not only turn back the hands of time, but are also safe and chemical free.
